Update from League Secretary

By Christopher Kirkpatrick

Return to Football

HI Everyone

I attended an online meeting last night and the information given in the email below was discussed.

I thought it a good time to bring you up to date with some things.

The association has decided that all club secretaries and 1 other committee member at least who are usually in attendance at matches should complete the online Covid 19 course, which will produce a certificate of completion which should be sent along with the attached declaration form to me. They will become the clubs joint Covid officers. Until this is done that team will not have any games sanctioned by the association.

I have also formatted a pro forma for you to use to record track and trace information.

The ASAFA definition of Local for friendly games will be any ground used for home games last season. No friendlies will be sanctioned for teams outwith our association.

Matchday protocol to follow.

League fixtures will be produced week beginning Monday 28th September.

I requested SAFA Affiliation forms for 1st September and have still some outstanding, I need these or your team will not play as they wont be registered in time with the SAFA. I have again attached the form for ease.

A projected costings sheet is attached and I will update you on exact figures asap.

Lets get ready to play football guys.

Regards

Eddie Gibb
